Neighbors, not me; though I do have a strange affinity for the 2G CR-V.

They buy two cars in the morning
They buy two cars at night
They buy two cars in the afternoon
It makes them feel alright
They buy two cars, or maybe lease
Right from the showroom floor
They buy two cars before they buy two cars
And then they buy two more

funny you should mention that, i was looking on FB and saw a 2004 Lancer like mine for AUD$1200 (no rego) but that’s no issue, 280k km is fine by me (as mine has 684k km)
just don’t know if i should or not

what is “no rego”? Is it a deal breaker?
Stuped Ameriken here.

True but at least it’s different colors and one is a facelift. Someone up the street has almost identical Buick Veranos. One is silver the other is more grey silver but it’s very close. Same trim level and everything.

I doubt that any of Finnish Mitsubishis have managed to reach that kind of mileage. The rust seems to like Mitsubishis quite a lot.

The neighbors across the street from me at the new house have a pair of the Lexus Prius cars, one dark gray and one red.

CR-V owners always seem to go back to buying another CR-V. Someone I work with has had 8 of them from what they’ve told me. 6 1st gen & 2 2nd gen.

It’s one of those cars that I’d always love to try out, not expecting much, but just to see what they’re like. Especially the first gen.

Seems like a common trend amongst non car enthusiasts. I know a couple that drive the same model year CR-V, another couple that both drive Altimas Ankit four model years apart. I don’t know how they come to the decision to buy essentially the same car but I have to remember most people see a car as an appliance and a means to an end. They just want to get to A to B.

I guess, to that end, they know they like this particular car, so if they get a second one they can’t lose.
Meanwhile, I’ve over here inventing a Netflix-for-cars in my head so I can literally drive a different car every month.
